Repair time

Well the new machines need to go to the repair shop for tune ups. Then we will be in business.  The KenQuilt is unthreading the needle and having trouble picking up the bobbin. The precision needs a new motor and foot pedal and the pfaff. Needs a belt and who knows what else.   But still they were good buys.

  1. Well after hours of messing with the quilting machine, phone calls and help from Bobbie and phone calls to Patsy (she has the same but newer model machine) I finally got the tension right and now both sides of the quilt are looking like they should. I am still having a little trouble with top thread breaking. But progress has been made. Yay.

I am so anxious to get it working correctly so I can learn to use the patterns and learn to quilt with the machine. I have 10 tops finished and these are all Christmas gifts so I have to get them quilted soon. That is a whole lot of hand binding in my future.
